taiku

What taiku keeps

taiku is an AI assistant you text. It's software, not a person, and it runs on one server its developer operates.

What it keeps

• Your phone number, and the first name of whoever invited you.
• What came of your messages: reminders, drafts it wrote for you, questions waiting on your yes, and a receipt for each thing it did.
• Files and pictures you send it.
• If you use it by email: mail you forward or Bcc it to keep for later, the last 50.
• Your recent conversation with it, for up to 48 hours (below).
• Which messages it has already handled, by their ids.

So it can follow a conversation, taiku keeps your recent messages with it, both sides: about the last 20 exchanges, and never anything older than 48 hours. Older messages are deleted on their own. The server's log records sizes and ids, not words. Everything else is kept until you ask for it to be deleted.

Who else sees your messages

• Each message goes to Anthropic's Claude model to work out what you're asking. Anthropic's terms cover that copy.
• Texts travel through Sendblue, the service that carries taiku's iMessages and texts.
• The person who invited you can't see your messages, or what taiku keeps for you, through taiku. Each person's taiku is separate.

Nothing is sold or used for ads.

Stopping and deleting

Text STOP and taiku stops messaging you, and nothing waiting on your yes goes ahead. START turns it back on.

To have everything taiku keeps about you deleted, your recent messages included, email support@taiku.live from any address and say which phone number it's for.
